Mental Health Association – Certified Peer Specialist Program
Formal peer support is a unique mental health service provided by a mental health consumer trained as a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS). The CPS works with other individual mental health consumers (peers) in a pro-active partnership to achieve self-determined recovery goals identified by the peer.

Warming Center at MHA – Winter emergency shelter for anyone without shelter when overnight forecast is for temps. of 25 degrees or below. Staffed by MHA. NAMI Erie County – Peer Support Group
The Peer Support Group is a support group for individuals experiencing a mental illness. The support group for peers meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the NAMI of Erie County office.

The Peer-to-Peer program is a free 8-week recovery education course that offers a holistic approach to recovery.

Services: The ACT Team provides the intensive rehabilitation, treatment and support services geared toward assisting that client achieve his or her life goals. This includes service coordination, psychiatric services, individual and group therapy, substance abuse counseling, work related services, daily living skills, social and interpersonal relationship counseling, leisure-time skill training, family education and support, and peer support services.
