Spring is right around the corner and time to clean out our closets! Again this year the SCHOOL DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF ERIE is proudly partnering with WICU 12 and JOHN V. SCHULTZ to assist Erie students and families by conducting a clothing and cash donation campaign
Caring Beyond the Holidays runs from now until March 26, 2010. We will be collecting men, women and children’s clothing, shoes, and outerwear. Donations are tax deductible and can be dropped off at any Erie School District School, WICU12 @ 3514 State Street or at JV Schultz in Summit Town Centre.
This collaborative community project is designed to replenish the shelves and clothing racks of the Caring Closet, 913 Payne Ave. As you know, the CARING CLOSET provides clothing assistance to families in need throughout Erie County. Families referred to the Caring Closet through local schools, shelters, churches and various local social service agencies, find clothing for the entire family at no charge on a year round basis
We could use your help. Please support our campaign by posting the enclosed flyers in your buildings and promoting this worthwhile effort through your office newsletters, bulletins and emails. If you would like the flyer in an email attachment, simply contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send it to you.
If you have any questions, regarding this community effort, please call the Erie Family Center at 814-874-6990.
As always, your efforts are greatly appreciated! Thank You!!!
